Good to see the addition of Dave Broom to the JR team. I very much enjoyed reading his book „Sense of place“ at Christmas time. Looking forward to reading more stories about whisky, the places it’s made and the people who make it.

So pleased to see the article today! Dave Broom is an absolute legend. His book ‘The Way of Whisky’ looking at Japanese culture and its interaction with whisky is one of the best books I’ve ever read. So thoroughly recommended if you can get your hands on it.

An exciting addition to this website!
Apart from whisky, I also enjoy reading about other spirits like Armagnac, Cognac, and, particularly, about rum (a certain Mr. Broom wrote a nice book called “Rum - The Manual” that I enjoyed…)
