Jancis was in Sancerre last year and discovered a quiet revolution going on in this corner of the Loire Valley so, we’re delighted to announce that Purple Pagers can explore this region’s finest wines without leaving London.
Love Loire is a new event organised by two Masters of Wine, Beverley Blanning MW, author of Wines of the Loire Valley, and Rebecca Gibb MW, the Loire specialist for Vinous. With decades of combined experience and a deep passion for the region, Beverley and Rebecca are uniquely positioned to shine a spotlight on what makes the Loire Valley one of the most dynamic and diverse wine regions in the world.
In response to the growing thirst for Loire wines, they have created a highly selective event to showcase the most exciting, quality-driven producers, all of whom will be there in person to pour their wines.
The event takes place on Tuesday 4 November at London’s Conway Hall from 17.30 to 20.00. Tickets are £50 per person, and the first eight Purple Pagers to sign up using this dedicated JancisRobinson link will win a free ‘wine walk’ with Rebecca at 18.30 on the night. Every attendee also goes home with a Loire goodie bag.
