Hi there community, Jancis and Tam have kindly suggested I post news of Northern Wine Festival in the community forum. Please allow me to share the details below should you wish to get involved.
Northern Wine Festival | Crypt Hall, Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral | Saturday 7th March
As a Liverpool-based wine educator, I have decided to launch NWF for it’s first year; bringing a whole-host of producers, distributors and educators to Liverpool for a huge celebration of global wine - that anybody can attend.
There are 4 core themes for the festival:
‘English Spotlight’ with producers from Kent, Sussex and Devon all attending
‘Exploration’ with off the beaten track wines from emerging wine countries such as Mexico, Uruguay, China and Japan all represented
‘Classic Regions’ we all know and love will not be overlooked with representation of wines from California, France, Italy, Chile and Argentina to name a few
‘Education’ is our final theme with wine educators in attendance all pouring from themed blind wine tasting tables to test your perceptions (as much as you palate).
Should any lovely members wish to read more information the festival’s website, can be found just below along with the festival’s flyer.

Many thanks for any support in bringing this event to Liverpool this March.
Warmest regards,
