Eric Rodez is a fantastic winemaker. I bought at the time his Empreinte 1995 and 1996, the two cuvées (Pinot Noir/ Chardonnay). Even after 15 years in my cellar, they were still in great shape. Now I have a few bottles of 2002/2003. Tasted blind against Dom Perignon 2002, the Empreinte 2002 Pilnot Noir was preferred by every taster… And do not forget his cuvée Grands Vintages : a sublime assemblage of older vintages.
